Emad Mohamed, M.D. Cardiologist
Dr Emad Mohamed received his medical degree from the University of Khartoum Faculty of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 28 years. He completed his fellowship in Cardiology in 2003 from the University of Mississippi. He has had a Cardiovascular Practice in Corinth, Mississippi for the last ten years and has recently joined Apex Cardiology. He has extensive training in clinical cardiology, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, coronary intervention, peripheral intervention, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), thrombectomy, transthoracic and trans-esophageal echocardiography, pacemaker/defibrillator implants and nuclear cardiology. Dr Mohamed is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, and American College of Physicians. He also speaks multiple languages including Arabic.
